Seattle, WA – February 22, 2007 – Zynchros, Inc., today announced a collaboration with Epocrates, Inc., of San Mateo, California. Under the agreement, the two companies will develop a sophisticated translation and delivery solution that will allow joint health plan customers to have the option to automatically translate approved drug lists (formularies) to an Epocrates-compatible format, and electronically deliver those lists to Epocrates' databases. Epocrates, developer of mobile and web-based clinical reference solutions, will then make the formulary information available to the more than 500,000 healthcare professionals that actively use their product. The ability to access the newly available coverage information when prescribing a new medication for their patient will ensure it is the most efficacious and cost-effective medication treatment.
